Windows Server 2022 Remote Desktop Infrastructure
PROJECT SUMMARY
Secure centralized Windows Server 2022 infrastructure with Active Directory, RDS, VPN access, Group Policy, and centralized user management for remote employees.
The Challenge
The client needed a centralized environment where employees could securely access internal applications and company resources remotely. The infrastructure also needed centralized user management, controlled permissions, secure remote access, backups, and easier administration without exposing RDP directly to the internet.
The Solution
Designed and configured a Windows Server 2022 environment with Active Directory Domain Services, Remote Desktop Services, VPN-based remote access, Group Policy, Windows Firewall, role-based permissions, and centralized user management. PowerShell was used to automate repetitive administration tasks, while backup procedures, event logging, and basic monitoring were configured for reliability and auditing.
The Results
Delivered a controlled remote-work environment where employees could securely access business applications and internal resources from outside the office. Centralized identity management, role-based permissions, VPN access, security policies, backups, and logging gave administrators better control and simplified ongoing maintenance.
